The rest of the crew members including the pilot also felt smoke. It was a cargo plane of Singapore Airlines, which carried 2000 sheep from Sydney, Australia. The plane was supposed to reach Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia with these sheep, but due to this incident it had to land on the island of Bali in Indonesia. The plane had to make an emergency landing
A Singapore Airlines spokesperson said that on 26 October 2015, a cargo aircraft of Singapore Airlines named Cargo Boeing 747 was carrying a consignment of goats. But, on the way, a warning was received from the on-board fire alarm system. Due to which the aircraft had to make an emergency landing. In the post-landing investigation, officials said that the plane was completely safe and the smoke that caused the plane’s fire alarm to sound was not smoke but the gas coming out of the stomachs of the sheep.
